Chuck DeVore--The Assemblyman

Chuck DeVore is another Republican Candidate who is seeking a seat in the United States Senate. Chuck DeVore was born on May 20, 1962 in Seattle, Washington. He attended Cal State Fullerton from 1980 to 1983, and then transfered to Claremont McKenna College on an ROTC scholarship. He served as the Lieutenant Colonel in the Army. Currently he serves as a Member of the California State Assembly. With the help of endorsers like the California Republican Party, Warriors for Congress, the Tea Party Express and the Senate Conservatives Fund PAC he now seeks to be a member of the Senate. This is his position on some of the issues that are of great importance to this nation.

Jobs and the Economy
Chuck DeVore believes that the high taxes that are being proposed are going to destroy the job opportunities for Americans. He also believes that the stimulus packages given by the government reduce the freedom of the people and will only make the economy worse. He is a strong believer that progressive taxes are unfair since the burden is put on a small group. He suggests a more simplified tax code and flat tax rates.

Healthcare Reform
Chuck DeVore believes that the Obamacare Health Reform is ineffective and opposes it. He suggest that the government should encourage the citizens to buy private insurance, but it would not be required, because it would create competition and make the rates go down. He also suggest that the government allow interstate competition for insurance. This would cause the rates go down. One thing he is clear is that no healthcare should be provided to the illegal immigrants, because he believes taxpayers should not pay for the cost and it would encourage more illegal immigration. He also states that America has a good healthcare system and if free-market principals were to be applied the system would be more efficient.

Immigration

Chuck DeVore states that he has been an advocate in completing the fence separating the United States and Mexico. He also believes that there should be no amnesty because it would be unfair for those who are trying to get her legally. He also states that once the borders are secure the government should really look into the system that issues the work visas, because this is a real important issue nationally and in California.
