  1. Though I do not see a place to put my opinion, everybody in this class feel free to post it where I posted it here. I would have voted for Barba Boxer because not only is she qualified, but she has been able to help average Joe's like me to go and pursue our dreams and career goals based on qualification and expertiece. Yet I know that we need new people in the Senate so I would vote for Tom Cambell because not only is he qualified but he believes in the same border protection that I do, and will impliment the National Gaurd which is an A+ in my book. Though I consider them weekend warriors, they still are part of this miilitary and any useful use for them is much appreciated.

  2. I would vote for Barbara Boxer for various reason. One is that she is a democrat like me and she has good values and beliefs. Another reason is that she is an incumbant and that means that she has expirience when it comes to being senator. She has great ideas for education, healthcare, and also reasonable solutions for illegal immigration overall I think she is a great candidate and I believe that she will carry out with all of her goals.

  3. I voted for barbara boxer not only because she is a democrat, but because I agree with what she has done and what she plans to do. What also helps is the fact that she is the incumband and has a lot of experience dealing with important issues such as education, immigration, as well as healthcare. I also voted for her because of the candidates, she is the only one that really persuaded me to vote for her.

  4. My vote would go to Barbara Boxer for 2010 Senate. My vote would be for her because I do agree strongly with the immigration propositions that she is making considering that illegal immigrants are important to the nation. She is planning on making the border secure but at the same time she wants to keep illegal immigrants and make sure that they are still welcome in the state by allowing their children to stay and not become orphans. I also agree with her focus in the smaller business because they are the ones that are offering jobs and keeping the economy kinda stable. Being an incumbent, I know that my vote will count and that she will go through.

  5. If I could vote in this election, I would vote for incumbent Barbara Boxer. I would vote for her because she has been in her position since 1993 and from the research I have done on her and what I heard in your presentation, she sounds like a pretty great candidate for the job. I would also vote for her because she is a democrat. However, a big reason why I would vote for her is because I see her as a very driven individual, she's driven to get help for California at a National level. If I could vote, I would vote for Barbara Boxer.

  6. I would vote for Barbara Boxer because I feel that she really has her goals set, especially when it comes to health care. Her policies aren't just empty promises, she has a set plan that seems like it might work. I also agree with giving out more job opportunities and her immigration policy. It isn't as harsh as the others and allows families to stay together.

  7. I would vote for Barbara Boxer. I agree with almost all her positions on the issues laid out. She is a Democrat so that is a plus for me. What really got me though was her position on immigration. She wishes to grant immigrant families a chance to get citizenship. I have a lot of experience of the suffering immigrant families go through. I strongly agree with her position that these families should not be forced to leave the country. She also holds positions on issues like healthcare similar to mind. I think we need to reform healthcare, just like she does.

  8. I would vote for Barbara Boxer because I agree with a lot of her positions. First, I agree that healthcare needs to be more affordable. I also agree with her plan to help improve schools by using the federal funds. I agree that the borders need to be safe and that the provisions must be reasonable. All these positions are very straightforward and I think that she would execute her plan very well. This is why I would vote for Boxer.

  9. I would vote for Barbara Boxer because she is the democratic incumbent and has proven to be successful up to now. I agree with all her policies including getting afordable health care for all families in California, providing citizenship to illegal parents who have children here so that they wont become orphans, and helping education. I believe she will continue succeeding in this position and bring a lot of positive ideas to the state. She is the type of person I would trust to represent me when passing legislation.

  11. If I were to vote, I would vote for the democratic incumbent. Barbarra Boxer's stance on the major issues that we are currently facing are closely tied to what I believe in. I completely agree with her stance on illegal immigration. We should give people the chance to recieve citizenship, and they are also reasonable. -Jerome Sanders

  12. i vote for barbarra boxer. she is the incumbent and she has the upper hand because she does that the experience. i like that she has thought of the peopl of california since she has supported the government in fiving california billions for federal funds. she addresses the big issues such as improvingt he schools and repairing the damages of highways and natural disasters. she is a strong supporter of the stimulus plans, which will eventually provide about 400,00 jobs in california. she has the right mindset and i think as senator she will do whats best for calirnia and keep representing the opinion on californias to her best.

  13. I would vote for Barbara Boxer because she is the incumbent. She has what it takes to stay in government and serve the people. Her immigrant policy is very touching because she longs to keep current immigrants her and especially protect their children because she thinks it is a well deserved right that they have and it is fair.

  14. I would vote for Barbara Boxer because not only is she an incumbent for CA Senate, she has very reasonable stances towards the many growing issues that this state is faced with. In regards to immigration, she knows that the borders have to remain secure, but at the same time she knows how to be reasonable so that these families arent broken apart. She is giving funds to helpt he economy and also providing jobs for people to decrease the rate of unemployment. She also wants to reform healthcare as well so that it is more affordable to poorer families. Overall, she is very reasonable and as an incumbent, she already knows how to address the needs of the people of this state.

  16. I would vote for Barbara boxer for various reasons one being that she is a democrat and agree with her positions. She has experience and some of the things she wants to do are improving schools and making the health insurance more affordable. That would be nice because health insurance is important and if it were less in cost it would be easier to get. Also her idea on using the federal funds to improve school which is the key to success because the more educated people are the more jobs they have and thats more revenue. I like her stance on immigration because she believes in not separating families which is ridiculous. She has my vote and I’m confident she will get it done.

  17. I would vote for Barbara Boxer because I believe that she would do the best job. She cares about illegal immigrants and wants to allow them to gain citizenship. I think that's totally fair and that she cares about them. She also cares about education and working with health insurance. Education is essentially the future and health insurance is a controversial topic, and Barbara Boxer would be perfect to fulfill this office position.

  18. For California's Senator I would vote for Barbara Boxer. She is a qualified candidate that will do a great job as senator. Her views on immigration, society and education interest me in how she will help out the people. Also, her experience makes her a well enough candidate to become a great senator.

  19. Barbara Boxer to me is the best qualified candidate which is why she is the incumbent. Boxer simply has more experience in office and like other candidate I support she is for the people especially the working class. Boxer is one of the few that does not wish to seperate families who have immigrant parents yet the children are legal. Boxer is also democratic and wants to establish more funding for our educational system which is something we need to reform.
